Stoneham Police Log: Officers Chase Suspect in Main Street Mobil Fight

Sept. 18
@1:55 a.m.: Police called to the area on a report of a fight in progress, with one man armed with a bat or pipe. Police located the man, wearing a red shirt with blue jeans, and chased after him. The suspect jumped the fence behind and could not be found in the darkness. Officers were stationed in the Rowe Street area and was contacted to assist with the search. No arrests were made.

@10:07 a.m.: Police respond to a Franklin Street residence on a report of the property being egged. No suspects found in the area.
@1:23 p.m.: Police called to the for a report of a man, reportedly in his 20s who is about 6-foot-4, who won't leave the supermarket. He left after officers sent him on his way.

@2:03 p.m.: Police respond to a Drummond Road home after a mother calls police about her teenage son being out of control. The mother and son were in a verbal argument, and an officer spoke with the son and the matter was resolved.
@2:24 p.m.: Police respond to a box alarm at a second-flood apartment on Franklin Street. Smoke, which was caused by burnt food, was removed from the apartment and the scene cleared shortly thereafter.
Sept. 19
@1:29 a.m.: Police respond to for a report of a loud bang in the area that sounded like a gunshot. Officers checked the area, but the report was unfounded.
