Sept. 16

@1:35 p.m.: Police respond to Main Street following a report of a wallet stolen from a handbag. The incident is being investigated.

@2:36 p.m.: Police called to Marshall Road on a report of unleashed dogs in the area. Owners advised of leash laws by police.

@2:33 p.m.: Police called to a Main Street residence on a report of a small child locked in a vehicle. The situation was resolved.

@2:54 p.m.: Police respond to a box alarm at a Spring Street residence on a report of smoke in the house. Firefighters discovered a fire in the walls and were able to get the working blaze under control shortly thereafter. The scene was cleared shortly after 4 p.m.

@6:16 p.m.: Police receive a call that a sewer backed up into a house on Newcomb Road. A DPW callman is notified of the incident.
