Sept. 20

@9:09 a.m.: Police conduct a controlled burn of marijuana for training of new assistant principal at . All current and assistant principals were present for the burn in the principal's office.

@4:34 p.m.: Police tend to an injured bluejay found in a homeowner's backyard on Pleasant Street.

@6:05 p.m.: Police called to the Hillside Avenue and MacArthur Road area after receiving reports of a syringe on the side of the road. Officers retrieved the item.

@9:19 p.m.: Police respond to Collincote Street for a report of moving trucks outside a foreclosed home. Officers confirmed it was a moving company removing homeowner's belongings.

@11:08 p.m.: Police respond to Main Street on a report of a man screaming; however, the person was gone upon arrival.

Sept. 21

@7:15 a.m.: Police respond to Sunrise Avenue following a report of a truck taking down a pole and wires. NSTAR was contacted twice to take care of live wires on the truck before resolving the issue.

@7:58 a.m.: Police respond to a two-car crash on Montvale Avenue. One person was taken to for further evaluation.

@8:08 a.m.: Police called to the intersection of Franklin and Pine streets for a two-car accident.

@2:40 p.m.: Police respond to a Fiske Avenue home after receiving a report of the house being found in disarray, possibly due to a break-in. Officers were expected to canvas the neighborhood.

@3:32 p.m.: Police called to following reports that kids were steling ice from the machine outside. Officers spoke with the kids and told them to leave the store and not return.

@8:20 p.m.: Police respond to the Main Street Mobil after an employee received threats over the phone.
