Stoneham Police Searching For Suspect in Home Break-In
A man allegedly broke into a Katherine Road home late Monday night, according to Stoneham Police.

A man allegedly broke into a Stoneham home late Monday night, according to police.
At 11:37 p.m. Monday, police responded to Katherine Road for a report of a breaking and entering into a home, according to police. The suspect allegedly gained access to the house when he "pried (the) basement door (open)," said Detective Robert McKinnon in an email to Stoneham Patch Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect entered the home, which was occupied by one person, according to McKinnon, but nothing was stolen. He added that no one was injured during the breaking and entering incident.

Shortly after entering the house, the suspect fled and police called in a State Police K-9 unit to track them. The K-9 unit tracked the "adult male" suspect to the South Marble Street area, but he could not be located, according to McKinnon.
As of 2:30 p.m. Monday, no arrests had been made, according to police.
