Stoneham Police Use Safety Grant For Speed Radar Trailer

STONEHAM, MA — The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security's Highway Safety Division recently awarded the Stoneham Police Department $5,000 for its participation in statewide traffic enforcement programs.

The police department used the funding to buy a compact speed radar trailer, which will be placed in areas where speeding vehicles may be a concern.

The town-wide speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
