Stoneham Retirement Board Notice Of Public Hearing On March 23, 2021

Please be advised that at the meeting on January 26, 2021, the Stoneham Retirement Board voted to conduct a public hearing pursuant to M.G.L. c. 32, § 103(i) to consider whether to grant a cost-of-living adjustment to its retirees for FY 2022.

The Social Security Administration announced that the latest Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), effective July 1, 2021, is 1.3 %. Therefore, the Stoneham Retirement Board may elect to grant a COLA of up to 3%, on a base of $13,000.00. Town Meeting is hereby placed on notice.
