Stoneham School Building Committee Needs Your Input
Help the SSBC decide what the SHS' Future Project will look like.
Stoneham, MA - As the Stoneham School Building Committee (SSBC) prepares to refine its options for the high school project and submit the Preferred Schematic Report (PSR) to the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) in late December, it is important that the Committee hears from all community members/stakeholders.
With everyone’s hectic schedules, attending meetings isn’t always easy and the SSBC hopes that residents will take the opportunity to complete a simple five-question survey, which asks about the most important considerations regarding the future high school project. Considerations include educational benefits, sustainability components, traffic mitigation, cost impact to taxpayers, community use and construction impact.

Completing the short survey will help guide the decision-making process as the SSBC continues its important work and prepares to submit its design decision to the MSBA in late December.
The Stoneham School Building Committee (SSBC) is comprised of municipal employees from the School and Town departments, elected representatives from the Select Board, School Committee and Finance & Advisory Board and citizens with a variety of talents and skills suited to the work of bringing a 21st century high school to the students and community of Stoneham.

Meetings are generally held twice a month on Monday evenings beginning at 7:00 p.m. The School Building Committee meetings are open to all and the committee welcomes your attendance and input.
