Stoneham Seeks Public Input on Vision and Action Plan

The public can weigh in on the plan at an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

The Metropolitan Area Planning Council is slated to present its Town Center Vision and Action Plan, which aims to boost Stoneham’s economy, later this fall.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Stoneham Town Hall, at Banquet Hall, 35 Central St.

During the conference, the public can weigh in on strategies and actions for economic growth and development in the town center.

The MAPC will work with the community to prioritize new opportunities for retail, housing and office development, and transportation.

The MAPC and the state’s District Local Technical Assistance Program is helping fund the plan.
