Stoneham Select Board Proclams May 5 - 11 Small Business Week

The Stoneham Select Board joins the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce in supporting National Small Business Week locally.

On Tuesday night, the Select Board, joined by Chamber of Commerce members, signed a proclamation declaring May 5 - 11 Small Business Week in Stoneham.

For more than 50 years, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.

More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.

The Town of Stoneham joins the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce in supporting the national efforts of the U.S. Small Business Administration locally by celebrating small businesses in their efforts to grow their business, create jobs. preserve character and ensure that our community remains vibrant.
