Stoneham Theatre's Annual Auction

(Stoneham, MA) - Stoneham Theatre will host Bid with Style on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 6:00pm at Montvale Plaza in Stoneham. This annual auction event, with a new fashion show twist for 2015, will bring together over 300 people to support Stoneham Theatre and celebrate 15 seasons of live, professional theatre and dramatic arts education in Stoneham Square. Venue sponsor Montvale Plaza will provide a delicious cocktail hour with complimentary passed champagne, as well as a full dinner and dessert buffet. Attire is black tie optional, and Stoneham Theatre hopes attendees go all out; after all, it is a fashion show!

Bid with Style will feature live and silent auctions, a “Wall of Wine,” a “Wall of Jewelry,” and a raffle to win the “Key to the Closet,” which contains over $1,000 worth of fashion and household items. Live auction items include a New York Theatre Package; a Lobster Feast at a waterfront home in Rockport, MA; a one-week stay at a beautiful condo in Naples, FL; a Sports Package; a “Be a Star” prize to make a cameo appearance in an upcoming Stoneham Theatre Mainstage production; and a stay at a waterfront beach house in Oak Island, NC. Silent auction items include local theatre tickets, boat cruises, jewelry, purses, museum passes, priceless behind-the-scenes opportunities, Disney Park Hopper passes, and much more.

The event is being co-chaired by Trustees Katie M. Menard and Aricia Symes-Elmer. The fashion show is being coordinated by Stoneham Theatre Trustee and “Shift Your Style” owner Aricia Symes-Elmer. It will include approximately 75 outfits in both men’s and women’s travel wear, career wear, and formal wear. The models are actors and actresses who have graced Stoneham Theatre’s stage over the past 15 seasons, alongside several Stoneham Theatre community supporters. Boutique and Salon sponsors for the event are Aine’s Boutique, Gianna’s Bridal & Boutique, Giblee’s Menswear + Tuxedos, Rada Boutique, Runway Couture, Russo Tux, TJ Maxx, and Hairmates Salon. The evening will be emceed by actor Mark Linehan, who also emceed last year’s auction and has performed in Stoneham Theatre productions such as It’s a Wonderful Life and Something’s Afoot.
