Stoneham Will Face Lynnfield In MIAA Field Hockey

Stoneham returns to the MIAA field hockey tournament and will travel to Lynnfield for the first round Thursday. The MIAA released the field hockey tournament pairings Monday.

The Spartans finished 9-7-2 and earned the No. 13 seed while Lynnfield (14-3-1) is seeded No. 4. Stoneham is the only Middlesex team in the Division 2 North field. As usual, nine-time Division 2 state champion Watertown is the team to beat in the North. The Raiders enter the MIAA tournament at 16-0-1.
