UPDATED: Reports of Montvale Ave. Fire Unfounded
Smoke was seen from the roof of a five-story building, but there was no fire in the building.
STONEHAM, MA—Firefighters discovered that there was no fire on Montvale Ave. in Stoneham after reports of a working fire came in Tuesday evening.
Reports indicated that smoke was coming from the roof of the building, but the Stoneham Fire department told Patch that the smoke was due to someone burning something in a house behind it, which was possibly leaves.
