StonehamBank Celebrates Its Graduates
Two employees graduate from New England School for Financial Studies.

A release from StonehamBank:
STONEHAM – Two StonehamBank employees graduated from the New England School for Financial Studies on June 15th. The extensive two-year program is for those with supervisory positions at a financial institution that demonstrate the ability to take on greater responsibilities within the organization.
Sara Whitney, Retail Trainer and Professional Development Manager, and Janet Hill, Vice President of Operations, attended two one-week sessions at Babson College in Wellesley over the past two years. Classes combine lectures with case studies to actively involve participants in the process of research, analysis, and creative planning. Students also complete five independent study projects that focus on their bank in the year between sessions.

“We couldn’t be more inspired by Sara and Janet’s commitment and enthusiasm to learn,” says Edward Doherty, Executive Vice President, “We’re excited to see how Sara and Janet will apply the knowledge and lessons learned to StonehamBank.”
Students are evaluated on their knowledge of BankExec, strategic planning exercises, and presentations. By graduation, students are better prepared to contribute to their banks overall operations and participate in profitable decision making.
