StonehamBank Donates Halloween Baskets To Area Hospitals

Each year, StonehamBank donates Halloween baskets to the Pediatric floors of both the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen and Winchester Hospital in Winchester.

The baskets were made by StonehamBank employees and were filled with coloring books, crayons, and Halloween toys. StonehamBank has been making and delivering these Halloween baskets, along with Easter baskets in the spring, since 2001.

“A lot of youngsters dress up as super heroes for Halloween, but these kids who are in the hospital are our real heroes,” says Edward Doherty, Executive Vice President, “We just want to put a smile on their faces. We’ve been lucky to be able to do that for the past 17 years.”

Personal Banker Laura Chinappi delivered the baskets to Holy Family Hospital last week. Later in the week, Business Relationship Officer Mary Celli joined her to deliver the treats to Winchester Hospital. The baskets were given to the nurses to deliver to their patients.

StonehamBank was ecstatic to be able to make and deliver Halloween baskets to the children at Holy Family Hospital and Winchester Hospital.
