Stoneham's James Geysen Passes Away

Longtime town resident served his country during the Vietnam War with the US Army.

James Geysen of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, Dec. 29. He was 76 years of age.

James is the beloved husband of the late Karen Payne Geysen. He is the loving father of Christopher Geysen and his wife Jennifer, brother of Paul Geysen. James is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Emily, Jillian, and Christopher and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Linda Nee and a brother John Geysen.

Jim was born in Boston on May 18, 1942 son of the late Freda and Joseph Geysen. Mr. Geysen proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the US Army. Prior to his retirement he was a typesetter for Central Engraving and had worked for New Horizons in Woburn.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Saturday, January 5th from 2-5 pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham.
