Hallmark Health System employees and supporters came out on Saturday, June 7 for the Stride for Healthy Communities walk at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield. The event featured a 3-mile walk and family fun activities such as a balloon artist, face painters, Blades, the Boston Bruins mascot and WBZ’s Kidcast mobile studio, which allowed kids to record their own news stories. This year’s event raised more than $25,000 for cancer care, cardiology programs, emergency services and the North Suburban Child and Family Resource Network.
