Thanks To All Who Helped Make Ice Breaker Social A Success

Great community effort brought together the class of 2026 for day of fun.

Thanks to all from the Colonial Park, Robin Hood, and South School PTOs:

On June 11, the Fourth graders from the Colonial Park, Robin Hood and South Schools congregated at Stoneham High School to take part in an “Ice Breaker Social.” The students had the opportunity to meet their future classmates, while participating in fun team building events hosted by Stoneham Recreation.

The PTOs of Colonial Park, Robin Hood and South Schools would like to express their sincere appreciation to Stoneham Recreation and the Stoneham Coalition for helping to coordinate and host the event, as well as to our corporate sponsors: Stoneham Bank, Hood and Stop and Shop for their donations.

A special thank you to all our volunteers, especially Stoneham Athletic Director David Pignone, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield, Steven Angelo, Megan Samborski, Kayla Vodka, Superintendent Macero and the staff of the Stoneham Public Schools for their support to make this event a success.

It was a great community effort and the incoming Middle Schoolers seemed to really enjoy themselves. We are looking forward to next year and wish the best of luck to the Class of 2026!
