
Timothy Martin O'Connell of Stoneham passed away on Friday, May 11 at Winchester Hospital. He was 78 years of age.
Born on May 22, 1939 in Cambridge, Timothy is the loving son of the late Daniel and Moya Collins. Timothy is a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Timothy graduated from Winchester High School in 1956 before enlisting in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1963. During that time, he graduated from East Coast Aero Technical School in 1960. Timothy worked at Northeast Airlines, Pine Brook Country Club and Sandy Burr Country Club. He was an avid golfer who loved and adored his family. He never missed any of his children's or grandchildren's sporting events.

Timothy is the beloved husband for 56 years of Jean (McCarthy) O'Connell. He is the devoted father of Tim M. O'Connell Jr. and his wife Kathy, Kevin O'Connell and his wife Deborah and Brian O'Connell and his wife Julia. The cherished grandfather of Matthew, Andrew, Erin, Sean, Jack, Kaylie, Lily and Gracie, Timothy is the dear brother of Richard O'Connell and his wife Mary and the late William O'Connell and Nancy Parcels and her late husband Burtus. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham, Wednesday, May 16th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Timothy's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Tuesday, May 15th from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
