Touch a Truck for a Good Cause
Touch A Truck and support the Fire Departments annual "Fill the Boot Drive" in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The Stoneham Fire Department will sponsor a ‘Touch A Truck’ event on August 20.2011 in the front parking lot of Redstone Shopping Center on Main Street.
This will be a free event and will be held in conjunction with the Fire Departments annual “Fill the Boot Drive” in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Between the hours of 9 AM to 1PM, children will be able to see, touch, explore and honkthe horns of their favorite trucks and emergency vehicles.
Along with the Fire Department, the Department of Public Works will showcase someof their newest equipment, along side vehicles from the Middlesex Sheriffs Department, The North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council Swat Team, vehicles fromthe military and vehicles from many local businesses.

A small donation will allow you to try your luck at the dunk tank to see who you cansink: volunteering to get wet will be the Stoneham Fire Chief and Stoneham Firefighters.
This event promises lots of fun for the young and young at heart. Ran or shine, we hopeto see there!
