Town of Stoneham Annual Veterans Day Ceremony and Road Race Nov. 11th

The Town of Stoneham Veterans Committee is excited to offer the 8th Annual Stoneham Veterans Day Run in conjunction with the Town's ceremony. The race is a way for the
community to come together in support of local service members and their
families. A 5K and 11K distance is offered and participants of all ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to participate. Through thegenerosity of our sponsors, veterans and active-duty military members participate at no cost.

Please visit stonehamveteransdayrun.org to register online. In person registration will be available on Friday, Nov. 10th (site to be determined) from 4-7pm and on Saturday, Nov 11th from 9am-11:15am at Stoneham Town Hall, 35 Central Street.

Race shirts will be provided to the first 150 pre-registered participants. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. Additionally,there will be a post-race celebration with free pizza provided
compliments of Angelo’s Ristorante.

Event Details

The Veterans Day Run will take place on Saturday, November, 11. The race starts and finishes at Stoneham Town Hall which is located at 35 Central Street, Stoneham 02180. Parking is available on site.

November 10: In Person Registration & Packet Pick-Up 4:00-7:00PM: TBD
November 11: Veterans Day
9:00 AM: Check-In and Registration open
10:30 AM: Veterans Day Observance Ceremony begins
11:15 AM: Check-In Registration closes
11:11 AM: Ceremony concludes, race participants assemble
11:30 AM: Race begins
12:00 PM: Post-race Reception with complimentary pizza from Angelo's
Pizzeria
