Toys for Local Children Drive

Town departments team up to help children in need this holiday season.

The holidays are fast approaching and the Stoneham Fire Department, Stoneham Town Clerk’s office, along with “Toys for Local Children” will be conducting their annual toy collection. We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. The age range that is most often forgotten is children from 10 to 16. Gift cards work great for this group.

Collection boxes have been placed at the Stoneham Fire Station, Stoneham Police Station, Stoneham Town Hall, Stoneham Public Library, and Stoneham Bank on Montvale Avenue. The collection box pick up date will be December 20, 2014. Toys will be accepted at the Fire Station until December 24, 2014.

Anyone needing assistance for this holiday season should visit the Town of Stoneham website for an application. Applications can also be picked up at the Town Clerks office. All applications should be returned to the Town Clerk Maria Sagarino no later than December 15, 2014.
