Traffic Advisory: Accident on Forest Street

A car struck a pole near 53 Forest Street Monday morning in Stoneham, according to a scanner report.

The single-car accident occurred at about 9:35 a.m. Monday, according to the report. Stoneham Police, Fire and EMTs responded to the scene.

The silver sedan sustained significant front-end damage. The lower portion of the pole was splittered; however, the pole was still vertical.

It's currently unknown if anyone was injured.
