Two Stoneham Cases Announced in Middlesex County Grand Jury Indictments

Two cases with ties to Stoneham were announced in the Middlesex County Grand Jury Indictments Monday.

STONEHAM, MA — Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan has announced Grand Jury indictments handed down between May 19 and June 23. Two of the alleged offenses occurred in Stoneham, none of which involved Stoneham residents. These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Here are the indictments:

  • Joseph Riccardi, 24, of Somerville, was charged with attempting to burn a building, breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony, and threatening to commit a crime. The Assistant District Attorney is Carrie Spiros.
  • Mary Rose, 50, was charged with threatened use or presence of a deadly device in a public building (3 counts), violating a harassment prevention order, disrupting a court proceeding, annoying phone calls, and threatening to commit a crime. The Assistant District Attorney is Jessica Noble.
