Unveiled Opens At Greater Boston Stage Company
One-woman play showcases Chicago playwright Rohina Malik.

The provocative and critically acclaimed one-woman show "Unveiled" will open Wednesday at the Greater Boston Stage Company in Stoneham.
Racism. Hate crimes. Love. Islam. Culture. Language. Life. Five Muslim women in a post-9/11 world serve tea and uncover what lies beneath the veil in this show that will run until Feb. 16. The show is written and performed by Rohina Malik, and the audience is invited to stay after every show for a discussion with tea and cookies.
Born and raised in London, England, Malik is a critically acclaimed Chicago playwright and solo performance artist. At age 15, she moved to Chicago with her family and later graduated DePaul University with a degree in Comparative Religions. Her playwriting career began in 2008 with a class she took on writing a one-person play, where Unveiled was born.
