Wakefield Man Arrested on Warrant Charging Him With Assault and Battery

At 2:18 a.m. July 25, Stoneham police made a motor vehicle stop on Main Street. Marcus Nalewanski, 29, of 23 Richardson St., Wakefield, was arrested on warrants charging him with assault and battery and disorderly conduct.

@8:56 a.m.: Police called to on Woodland Road to investigate an odor of burning. Firefighters reported an overheated ballast. An electrician was contacted.

@10:48 a.m.: A caller reported an unauthorized charge of $88.75 at a CVS in New Jersey on July 24 on her  card. The report was a log entry only.

@1:51 p.m.: Police responded to the June Road and Summer Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. A tow truck was called to the scene, but no tows reported. One patient refused treatment.

@2:20 p.m.: A caller told police that three unauthorized charges totaling $300 were made at a Macy's in New Jersey on July 22 on their Stoneham Savings Bank card. The report was a log entry only.

@5:31 p.m.: A caller contacted police about a propety damage incident. The caller wanted to speak with an officer regarding a light fixture falling on his vehicle. Police to file a report.

July 25

@9:32 a.m.: Police responded to the Crystal Drive and East Street area for a report of a three-car accident. A towing company was called for three vehicles, and six patients declined medical treatment.

@11:21 a.m.: Police called to the area of Ellen Road and Franklin Street on a report of motor vehicle accident with personal injury. Two cars were towed. A total of three people were transported to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in two ambulances, while one was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital and another person to Winchester Hospital.

@12:55 p.m.: Police called to Woodland Road for a report of a two-car crash in a parking lot. One vehicle was towed. No injuries reported.

@1:04 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Emerson Street and a municipal lot on a report of furniture dumping. The caller reported a couch and table dumped in the municipal parking lot. DPW notified.

@2:16 p.m.: Police called to on North Street for a report of a stolen wheelbarrow. Police took a report. 

@3:31 p.m.: A person visited the police station to report a possible past breaking and entering at their Central Street apartment. Police filed a report.
