What's the Next Step for Social Justice in Stoneham?

We invite you to join us at the Stoneham Public Library on Tuesday evening, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. to explore forming a Stoneham network for social justice.

Nicole Langley, the Library director, has offered to host an open meeting of individuals and groups in Stoneham who are working for and passionate about social justice, encompassing issues of race, ethnicity, religion, ability and gender. We will also be joined by members of the Stoneham Human Rights Commission.

Our goal is to take the next step together. To determine if creating a social justice network as a non-profit community organization would best advance social and racial justice in our town.

Several groups and many individuals are now working to advance education and advocate for social justice and racial equity in our community.

Please bring your ideas and your passion to a round table on Nov. 16 at the Stoneham Public Library. We hope to see you then.
