Winter Break Is Here!! Here’s 5 Things To Do This Break!

Everyone looks forward to the holiday cheer and glamour, but it also means that the kids are off school and the family is coming to town!! To make it easier to find something to do this winter, check out five of Boston’s favorite winter activities:

1) Snow Tubing at Nashoba Valley in Westford. Open during the peak of winter, many families enjoy the family fun of tubing down snow slopes just like the old fashioned sledding days. Hours often vary, so check out their website and social networks for more details. All-inclusive price is $45 per person.

2) Winter “Snowport” Fun at Boston Seaport in South Boston. Now under new management and redeveloped, the Seaport district has a lot to offer to guests of all ages, and they went all out for winter. From Igloo’s at Tuscan Kitchen, ice curling and a holiday market featuring over 120 vendors, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Best of all, there is no admission charges to enjoy the festive façade. Only pay for what you get.

3) Skyline Tours at View Boston in Fenway District. Nestled at the former Top of The Hub restaurant at the top of the 52-story Prudential Center, View Boston has a skyline attraction appealing to all ages. Come up to the top and view the entire Boston Skyline, and then some. Other Boston-related attractions, a cafe and a gift shop are on-site, as well as the Shops at Prudential Center on the ground floor. 4) Ice Skating & More at MarketStreet- The Rink in Lynnfield. One of the North Shore’s most popular developments is offering some reasons for your visit this season with their winter festivities. Featuring a full-service skating rink, photo-op props, live DJ’s and carolers, as well as pop-up vendors and events most weekends throughout the season. Plus, enjoy shopping and dining at hundreds of local and national tenants, get rejuvenated at Restore Wellness and enjoy some family fun at King’s Bowling. It’s an experience everyone will approve of. Rink admissions are $12 (+ $5 for skate rentals). Ages 3 and under skate for free! Other tenants pricing vary.

5) Snow-shoeing at Gore Place Reserve in Waltham. With over 50 acres of natural lands, you can choose from a variety of paths and journeys to make for a great snow day. Traveling paths are marked and you can choose based on your skill level. Then, take a short drive to Arsenal Yards in Watertown where you will find the perfect place to unwind. From Majestic Theatres where you can relax for a drink and send the kids to watch a blockbuster, to your choice of over 20 restaurants and 30 shops, you’ll be able to keep the fun going for everyone at their own pace and style, ensuring everyone’s happiness throughout. Snow-shoeing price is $10 per hour. Movies are $7 per person during daytime (matinee) showtimes and $15 per person during nighttime (prime) showtimes.
