Police Searching for Suspect in Spray-Tan/Wig Disguise for Check Scheme

Attleboro police said a woman wearing a wig and a spray tan for a disguise stole several driver’s licenses and checks in the region.

Police are searching for the woman pictured; anyone with information is asked to call Attleboro police at 774-203-1886.

Police said the woman stole checks and licenses from vehicles in Bridgewater and Stoneham and attempted to cash a check at Harbor One Credit Union on Pleasant Street in Attleboro.

The woman has a black and gray striped sweater and drives a white, four-door sedan that might be a rental.
