Bank of Easton Names John Morley CEO & President

The Board of Directors of the Bank of Easton is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Morley to the position of Chief Executive Officer and President of the Bank of Easton, effective immediately. Mr. Morley succeeds Thomas Caron who recently left the Bank to pursue other opportunities after serving as President for the last 28 years. Mr. Morley’s qualifications and capabilities are well known and highly regarded by the Board as he has been employed by the Bank for the past 15 years as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to his employment with the Bank, Morley served as the Treasurer of the Hibernia Savings Bank and as Audit Manager at the public accounting firm of Wolf & Company, P.C. for 12 years. 

Morley is a graduate of Carroll School of Management at Boston College.  He is deeply committed to serving our community, not only through dedication to his work at the Bank, but also having served as a Board member for the F.L. Olmsted School Council since 1999, as a member of the Parish Finance Commission for the Holy Cross Church since 2002, and as a member and Chair of the Foundation for Excellence in Education in Easton (F.E.E.E.) since 2001.   He also has served as a youth baseball, softball and basketball coach in Easton.  He currently serves on the Boards of Easton Community Access Television and BIC Nehemiah Partnership.  In 2007, John was honored with the Easton Chamber of Business Citizen Award. 

As a long-time resident of Easton, Morley said, “It’s truly a privilege to continue serving my community and I look forward to a bright future and continued success for the Bank.”
