Contractor Found Guilty Of Stealing $25K From Stoughton Nurse: NBC
The Fall River contractor was supposed to install a pool, according to NBC.
STOUGHTON, MA — A Fall River contractor was convicted of stealing $25,000 from a Stoughton nurse who paid him to install a pool, NBC reported.
Larry Westgate was sentenced to a year in jail but won't have to serve it if he pays the $25,000 back to Rose Khnaizir over the next five years, the story said.

"During the trial, Khnaizir testified about giving Westgate a check for $25,000 to order equipment and break ground on the project," NBC reported, adding, "However, months passed and nothing had happened. Khnaizir read a series of text messages between her and the contractor during the testimony."
Following the trial, Westgate told NBC, ""All I want to do is just get the lady back her money and move on," and, "I'm sorry it turned out this way, but it wasn't what it was meant to be."
