Assault With A Dangerous Weapon, Shoplifting, And More: Stoughton Police Log

July 9

5:21 p.m. - A caller at Douglas Wine and Spirits on Washington Street reported two people who stole liquor from the store. A 25-year-old from Stoughton and 26-year-old from Stoughton were charged with shoplifting by asportation and conspiracy.

7:56 p.m. - Jared Ekman, 25, of Stoughton, was arrested on Central Street on four warrants.

July 10

12:02 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Island Road near Greenbrook Drive, a 26-year-old from Canton received a summons for operating with a suspended license and an number plate violation.

7:19 p.m. - A 42-year-old from Avon was issued a summons for two counts of domestic assault and battery, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and witness intimidation.

July 11

2:29 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Prospect Street, a 26-year-old from Stoughton, received a summons for unlicensed operating of a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield, and failure to wear a seat belt.

5:53 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Central Street near Station Street, a 41-year-old from Brockton received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
