After the game junior Pat Jackman stated, "Tough game to lose today. We went out and played hard and the balls just weren't dropping in the right places for us. I thought Brian pitched great today, and put us in a great position to win. The bats just were not alive today. Going forward we will hopefully start to provide our pitchers with more run support."
Senior Jamie Connors added, "The effort was definitely their today. We played hard and some things just did not go our way. It was a tough game to lose, but we will be back at it and we just need to focus on the next one."
The Knights will look to bounce back Monday afternoon when they host Foxboro. The game at KP, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 5 has been postponed until Friday, May 11.
