STOUGHTON, MA β Boston Magazine has released their rankings of the best public high schools.
Using data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Magazine's team compiled the best public schools that are within, or partially within, I-495.
Stoughton finished 93rd out of the 149 schools that were ranked. The rankings were determined by factors such as SAT scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, according to the magazine.

Who did the best according to Boston Magazine? Acton-Boxborough Regional high school came in at number one. Here's how Stoughton's neighboring communities ranked:
- Sharon High School came in at No. 13
- Brockton High School came in at No. 130
- Oliver Ames High School came in at No. 58
- Canton High School came in at No. 52
- Randolph High School came in at No. 121
