Break-In Reported At Sharon Home Near Stoughton Line

SHARON, MA — Police are investigating a break-in that took place in Sharon near the Stoughton town line.

At about 4:58 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a housebreak on Bay Road near Mallard Drive. The homeowners were home and upstairs at the time and heard loud bangs downstairs. When they went downstairs, they observed a man wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt and a black mask, according to the Sharon Police Department. The suspect quickly left the house.

Witnesses told police that a red Lexus SUV operated by a Hispanic man, possibly with braids or ponytail, was seen picking up a man wearing a gray hoodie near the area of Bay Road and Mallard Drive.
