Former Stoughton Man Charged In Norwood Drug Bust

Police say they recovered several drugs, including over 100 pills they were unable to identify.

A lengthy investigation has led to the arrest of a Norwood and discovery of many drugs, police said.

Norwood resident Sean Cole was arrested Friday and charged with six counts of possession of Class B drugs with intent to distribute, two counts of Possession of Class E drugs with intent to distribute E and distribution of cocaine, according to the Norwood Police Department.

On Sept. 15, Norwood Police, members of the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime (NORPAC) Task Force, and Massachusetts State Police executed a search warrant at 1132 Washington St. The resident, identified as Cole, was the subject of a lengthy police investigation conducted by into the distribution of numerous illegal narcotics.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers allegedly found several different narcotics including crystal meth, Adderall, methylphenidate, gabapentin, Suboxone, LSD, and MDMA in both pill and powder form. Over 100 other pills that we were unable to identify were also seized.

The unknown pills will be sent to the Massachusetts State Police Crime Lab for identification. Also, an abundant amount of packaging materials were located inside the residence including scales, baggies, and package sealing devices.

More charges are expected when the unknown pills are identified, police said.
