A Look at Stoughton's History Through Hank Herbowy's Lens
Stoughton's Hank Herbowy shares some of the photos he has taken around town over the last number of years.
This past Sunday, Stoughton's Hank Herbowy narrated a slideshow of pictures he has taken around town over the last number of years during a special presentation at the Stoughton Historical Society.
For those who missed the event, Hank was nice enough to share some of these pictures with Stoughton Patch.
Take a look at the accompanying media gallery for photos from the February, 2006 demolition of the Old Town Spa Building (which was built in 1882, housed Town Spa from 1955-1986 and most recently was the home of Centerfield's restaurant); the September, 2007 grand opening of the new McDonald's on Washington Street; and photos of town leaders over the years, including a picture of a young Francis T. Crimmins, Jr., taken well-before his days as Town Manager.

Herbowy has also taken plenty of pictures of events not in town. While not Stoughton related, we figured any NASCAR enthusiasts or sports fans out there would get a kick out of seeing a picture of a young Jeff Gordon, taken by Herbowy in 1993, at the Lee Speedway in New Hampshire.
