Have You Seen This Alleged Stoughton Purse Thief?

Police in Stoughton are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man connected to a theft over the weekend.

At 2:30 p.m. Sunday, police received a report of a purse theft at the Washington Walgreens according to the Stoughton Police Log. The man reportedly left the store after hiding the purse under his shirt.

Sgt. Robert Welch told the Enterprise that the police department is following a lead but has not identified the man, who is described as a white male in his 30s with black hair.
