Holbrook Man Faces Charges In Crash That Kills His Girlfriend

Police said the suspect was under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and driving 130 mph in the crash that went airborne through a house.

QUINCY, MA — A Holbrook man faces charges following a Nov. 11 crash in which his car went airborne and plowed into a home, killing his girlfriend, Nicole Ricci, 20, of Stoughton.

Hector Dejesus, 19, was charged with manslaughter while operating under the influence of liquor, driving under the influence of marijuana, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, malicious destruction of property over $1,200 and speeding at over 100 mph.

Dejesus was arrested by Holbrook Police at his home around 11 a.m., Monday. He was arraigned in Quincy District Court Monday afternoon and is being held on $50,000 bail.

Police said Ricci, a passenger, was extricated from the car and brought to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No one was in the Kingsley Street home when the Toyota Camry sideswiped a telephone pole, went airborne, and crashed into the roof around 4:30 a.m., police said. DeJesus was driving 130 mph.

Residents of the home are now displaced. Friends and coworkers have since set up a Go Fund Me page to help them figure out their living situation.
