11:02 a.m. - A 42-year-old from Stoughton on Pleasant Street was issued a summons for indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years old or older.

9:17 a.m. - A caller reported a damaged vehicle with a person slumped over the steering wheel at Pinecrest Variety Store on Pearl Street. A 39-year-old from Stoughton was taken into protective custody.

January 5

12:34 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Simpson Street, a 21-year-old from Brockton was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failing to display plates while operation a motor vehicle, and speeding.

January 6

1:34 a.m. - A 21-year-old from Stoughton at Cumberland Farms on Turnpike Street was issued a summons for assault and battery.


January 7

1:37 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Pleasant Street near Central Street, Albert Patten, 27, of Canton, was arrested and charged with failure to stop for a police officer while driving, operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, interfering with the duties of a police officer, and resisting arrest.
