No Bail for Stoughton Man Facing Drug Charges

​Sedrick Oliveira, 26,​ waived a probable cause hearing and will be held for up to 30 days with no bail.

STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton man facing multiple drug charges is being held without bail following a court appearance Monday.

Sedrick Oliveira, 26, waived a probable cause hearing hearing Monday, according to the Enterprise. He is charged with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, cocaine and oxycodone. Because he waived the hearing and entered a voluntary order of detention, he will be held for up to 30 days without bail

Last Wednesday, Oliveira was arrested at the Stoughton Courtyard Marriott. After police entered his room, one man allegedly tore a hole in a window screen to discard a gun and another man was seen attempting to flush drugs down a toilet.

Fentanyl was also recovered.

Alvaro Andrade, 26, of Taunton, was also arrested and arraigned Friday in Stoughton District Court.
