• Jury Selection Begins For Trial Of Ex-MA Cop Accused Of Killing Pregnant Woman (patch.com) — Stoughton residents are watching closely as jury selection begins in the federal trial of former town police detective Matthew Farwell, accused of killing 23-year-old Sandra Birchmore and causing the death of her unborn child. Prosecutors say Farwell abused his position in the Stoughton Police Explorers program to sexually exploit Birchmore for years, while the defense maintains she died by suicide. The trial is expected to last about 20 court days.
   

• At least one student at Stoughton High School hospitalized after taking THC edible (boston25news.com) — A student at Stoughton High School was hospitalized Tuesday after consuming THC edibles, prompting three separate shelter-in-place periods for student medical needs. District leaders are urging Stoughton families to talk with teens about cannabis and reminding students to seek adult help if a friend seems unwell. Counselors will be available at the high school throughout the week.
