Police Log: Assault, Shoplifting, and More

March 24

12:05 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop near the VFW on Washington Street, a 22-year-old male from Lynn received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

10:31 a.m. - A 42-year-old female from Stoughton received a summons at the West School for larceny under $250 by a single scheme and three counts of larceny under $250 from a person over 60/disabled.

10:08 p.m. - A 32-year-old male from Stoughton on Central Street was taken into protective custody.

March 27

8:04 p.m. - A 32-year-old female from Brockton received a summons at Kohl’s for shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

March 29

4:16 p.m. - After receiving reports of a person making threats, police took a 52-year-old male into protective custody for witness intimidation and threatening to commit a crime.

March 30

12:33 p.m. - A 60-year-old female from West Roxbury received a summons on Technology Circle Drive for shoplifting by asportation.

5:40 p.m. - A caller reported numerous students from the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center running out of the residence. When officers arrived, dispatch received another call for a student who ran away and was outside the Chateau. Anthony Rivera, 18, of Stoughton, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, disorderly conduct, threat to commit a crime, and resisting arrest.
