Andrew Chiang won a raffle at the school’s Pumpkin Patch to be the principal for the day. He gave the students extra recess and shadowed full-time principal Maureen Mulvey on Wednesday of this week.

The volleyball program started in 2008 and has endured some growing pains, but is postseason bound in its fourth year, thanks in large part to Coach Ken gay and four seniors—Quattrucci, Chlus, Lopes and Chica—all of whom were with the team since day one.

The SHS track will be closed from Tuesday, Sept. 6 through Tuesday, Sept. 27—a span of three weeks—while it is resurfaced.
Stoughton Public Schools start Tuesday, September 6 for grades 1-12. The first day of kindergarten is Thursday, September 8.
Schedules will be released on the first day of school. The only significant change to the schedule is that numbered days and lettered periods have been replaced with lettered days and number periods (i.e. Period 4 on D-Day, instead of D-Period on Day 4).
