STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton woman was arrested after a five-hour standoff that began after police said she threatened her neighbor with a BB gun. Police were called to the home in the 400th block of Willow Street just after 4 p.m. Monday, and the situation continued for hours as a SWAT team and crisis negotiators were brought in. Willow Street and Kay Way residents were asked to shelter in place, and police shut down the area to traffic.

Stacien Lewis, 39, was arrested just after 9 p.m., after hours on the phone with negotiators, police said. Police said Lewis exited the house peacefully with her adult son and was taken into custody. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

Police said they executed a search warrant at Lewis' house and found a BB gun. Lewis was arrested on an oustanding warrant and was also charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
