Stoughton Hair Cuttery Makes Giving Back to the Community a Priority

The Hair Cuttery invites Stoughton-area non-profits who need help with fundraising to stop by the Stoughton salon to see how they might be able to help.

The following is a press release from the Hair Cuttery:

Terri Batchelder, salon leader at the Stoughton Hair Cuttery located on Washington St. in Stoughton, believes in giving back to the community.

She has made it a priority in her life and encourages her stylists to do the same, especially during the holidays and especially this year, when times are tough for so many.

“I love my job – not only do I get to use my creativity to make people look great, I also get the opportunity to support a great community,” Batchelder said.

“My stylists and I are committed to the people of Stoughton and want to be as involved and sensitive to the needs of Stoughton residents and non-profit organizations as possible which is why we’re proud to be – and why we are committed to many local charitable efforts throughout the year.”

Batchelder has made sure she and her stylists honor that commitment.

The salon has to underprivileged children in the Stoughton community, has raised funds for autism research, and has held a special fundraiser in the salon that benefitted the Red Cross Tornado Relief Effort. They have also donated gift baskets and gift certificates to local schools and charities, but they want to do more.

Batchelder is inviting Stoughton-area non-profits who might need help with fundraising to contact her about how Hair Cuttery might be able to help.

Whether donating a gift basket or gift certificate or hosting a cut-a-thon to help raise money for a special cause, Batchelder wants to let the people of Stoughton know that Hair Cuttery is here to help.

“We’re more than just a hair salon.  We feel we’re also a part of our community – and giving back is a priority for all of us who work here,” Batchelder said.
