Stoughton High Girls' Track Loses Close Meet to Sharon
Stoughton's Jade Paul is the leading scorer for the Black Knights. The team lost to Sharon 49-37 last Saturday in Hockomock League action.

The Stoughton High girls' track team put up a valiant effort against Sharon, losing 49-to-37 last Saturday.
Jade Paul was Stoughton's high scorer, winning the 600 yard event, coming in second in the high jump with a personal record 4'6" and coming in second in the 300 yard event.

The hurdlers swept their event: Alicia Macomber in first, Kelly Collins in second and Haley Ellertson in third.
Other notable performances: Lauren Pinchieri won the 1000-yard event; Ifeoma Okeke got nosed out in the dash finishing second; Deirdre Simms came in second place in the mile; and Nobrina Seng came in second in the shot put.

The J.V. girls finished their season with great performances.
The varsity team next competes this Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Center for the Hockomock League Championships.
