Stoughton Man Faces Multiple Drugs, Weapons Charges

STOUGHTON, MA — Over 100 grams of cocaine, 141 grams of marijuana, a gun, and several rounds of ammunition were found inside a Stoughton apartment, police said.

Angel A. Morales, 45, of Stoughton, was arrested Monday morning. He was arraigned Tuesday morning and charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number, illegal possession of ammunition, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act. He is being held on $100,000 bail, according to the Enterprise.

Police say that Morales was the focus of a multi-town, state, and federal investigation. A police report didn't reveal how the investigation started.
