Stoughton Man Faces Weapon, Drug Charges After Alleged Break-In

STOUGHTON, MA — A break-in suspect in Brockton faces extra drug and weapon charges, police said.

Earwheen Exil, 25, of Stoughton, was arrested late Thursday and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, attempting to commit a crime and trespassing. He also had two active warrants, according to the Enterprise.

At about 11:26 p.m., police responded to a report of a break-in on North Warren Avenue. A witness told police that they saw a man trying to open her car door. The man fled but a description of Exil, which included an NBA jacket, led to officers finding the suspect behind a fence.

Police took Exil into custody, despite the fact that he allegedly did not comply with police orders. Heroin, cocaine, and a knife were allegedly found on him.
