Stoughton Man Indicted on Drug Charges

STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton man has been indicted on federal drug charges.

Sedrick Oliveira, 26, faces a charge of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, and oxycodone, the Enterprise reports. He is being held without bail in Central Falls, R.I.

On Oct. 12, Oliveira was arrested inside the Courtyard Marriott on a federal warrant. Police say one man tore a hole in a window screen to discard a gun and another man was seen attempting to flush drugs down a toilet. A drug that is possibly heroin or fentanyl was found in the room.

In 2014, Oliveira was named one of Brockton's 50 most wanted criminals.

Oliveira is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 1.
