Stoughton Man Robs CVS With AIDS-Filled Syringe: Police

Police said Ralph Milford, 25, of Stoughton, robbed a Canton CVS by threatening pharmacists with an AIDS-filled syringe.

CANTON, MA — A Stoughton man was arrested after police said he robbed a Canton CVS by threatening pharmacists with an AIDS-filled syringe. Ralph Milford, 25, was charged with armed robbery.

Just before 1 p.m. Monday, police received a call from a pharmacy employee at the Washington Street store. Police told WHDH Milford passed a note to pharmacists saying he was armed with the syringe and would inject them with the virus if they didn't hand over pills and other narcotics.

Police said they later found Milford in a nearby parking, and he tried running away. Officers caught up to him at a nearby gas station and placed him under arrest.
